Święta Lipka is a place almost everyone knows, but have you really seen it up close? I invite you to take a walk through this incredible sanctuary, where Baroque splendor blends with the harsh history of the border between Warmia and Mazury. Explanation: We begin by walking through the forests that once formed the border between two worlds. I'll show you the basilica not only from the front, but we'll also peer into the nooks and crannies that are often forgotten. You'll see the cloisters, where beautiful frescoes are decaying under layers of white paint, and we'll learn the story of the convict who started it all. Of course, we couldn't miss the heart of this place – the massive altar and the famous organ with moving figures. You have to hear (and see) it for yourself! In the film, you'll see: A path through the forests on the former border between Warmia and Mazury. The monumental structure of the basilica – entering through the famous gate. Decaying corridors and painted-over frescoes (a sad sight...). The legendary linden tree with the statue of Mary. The church interior, which simply crushes you in your seat.
