ALPHONSE NDONGO TV SUBSCRIBE | LIKE | SHARE ------------------------------------------------------ Congo is embracing the dynamics of tax reform in accordance with CEMAC directives, abolishing the personal income tax (IRPP) and creating four new types of taxes. This is the transposition of a 2024 CEMAC Directive that aims to harmonize the taxation of income of individuals and legal entities within CEMAC. States are required to transpose this Directive into their domestic law by December 31, 2025. This Directive repealed the Corporate Tax Directive (1) and the Personal Income Tax Directive (2). It is true that the effective transposition of this Directive will lead to major changes in income taxation, particularly for individuals, as we know it today. When the reform is effective, we will have, independently, instead of the current personal income tax (IRPP): 1. Business profits tax (IBA), 2. Wage and salary tax (ITS), 3. Income tax on movable capital (IRCM), 4.
