A solo hike along the Eastern Lycian Way in Turkey. Day 1 of 7 🎬 What this episode is about: I set off alone on the Eastern Lycian Way (Antalya, Turkey).A section of the famous route from Antalya to Çıralı in early April.This is a complete 8-day trekking diary: no group, no guide, just a heavy 20+ kg rucksack, a tent, a sleeping bag and 15–25 km a day. 📅 In this series (Day 1): From Antalya, take a bus to the trailhead. Start in Geyikbayiri. Caught in a torrential rain. The first 7 kilometers are lonely. Ruins of the ancient Lycian city of Trebenna. A sleepless night in a damp forest after the rain. Frozen in the tent. Distance covered: 7.28 km, 9,712 steps, elevation gain 661 m, maximum altitude 1,021 m, air temperature +19°C. Route: Antalya - Geyikbayiri - Trebenna - Overnight in the forest Highlight of the day: got soaked in the pouring rain, froze in the tent at night.
