“INTANDOKAZI” Directed by Darlington Micheals

Synopsis Ntandokazi is a story of a young man born out of wedlock who’s family is torn apart due to his mother’s favouritism. She always condones his younger brother’s mischief, which is often at his expense. He is always reminded that the house they live in belongs to his younger brother’s father despite the fact that he takes care of all the expenses. He wants to marry his girlfriend but his mother won’t give him the stamp of approval. He is not only denied that when it comes to marriage, he faces his mother’s rejection every day of his life. His turning point is when his brother impregnates a girl then steals his car and crashes it beyond repairs, killing someone in the process. He makes the decision to move out. This forces his brother to find direction in his life and forces his mother to face her demons. He now has even bigger responsibilities, as he is about to be a husband, a father, a son and an uncle who is a primary care giver. He gets the blessing to marry and twice the responsibility as his brother is now imprisoned for murder.
