Coopers Hawk, After Feather Imping Nature's Nursery
This Coopers Hawk came in unable to fly. She has since recovered from her injury, but we couldn't keep a tail guard on her and due to their manic behavior, she has broken all of her tail feathers. She had also broken some of her wing feathers in the initial injury. Rather than keep her until she molts new feathers in...we have imp-ed in new feathers from a Coopers Hawk that passed away. This is the first time we are doing this procedure. Although we had a few minor mistakes...we really are happy with the final outcome! Thanks, to this Coopers for being our "guinea pig!" https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb... www.natures-nursery.org
