The dumbest fix ever : 2012 Ford Escape power seat fix
My mom's 2012 escape stopped moving forward -- so I looked into it. It wasn't the motor, nor the track, the wires, not even the switch* ...of course I figured it out after I took everything apart. Here's how to diagnose if it's the switch, and the dumbest fix I think I've ever done. Stretch out the spring in the middle button to reengage the switch in both directions. seriously.
