Packing lunch to eat outside is delicious, safe, and economical. CIY presents easy lunchbox recipes with many tips and tricks to make packing fun. Perfect for yourself, friends, or kids, with three menu options: Spaghetti Meatballs, Crab Stick and Shrimp Roe Sandwich, Sausage Sandwich, and Crispy Pork with Ginger and Chili Fried Rice. Crab Stick and Shrimp Roe Sandwich Serves 1-2 people Ingredients 1 pair of sandwich bread 2 iceberg lettuce slices Unsalted butter for spreading on bread Crab Stick and Shrimp Roe Salad 100 grams of chopped crab sticks 2 tablespoons chopped green onions ¼ cup chopped carrots 1 ½ tablespoons shrimp roe 3 tablespoons mayonnaise ¼ teaspoon salt Instructions 1. Make the crab stick and shrimp roe salad by combining crab sticks, green onions, carrots, shrimp roe, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Toss well and set aside. 2. Spread butter on the bread, place the iceberg lettuce slices on top, cut the crab stick and shrimp roe salad and add it to the bread. Assemble the other slice and serve. CIY 40 Lunchbox Recipes Sausage Sandwich Serves 1 Ingredients 2 slices of bacon 1 pork sausage 1 hot dog bun Unsalted butter for spreading on the bread Mustard and finely chopped parsley for garnish Coleslaw 1/2 head of cabbage 1/4 head of carrot 1/2 head of onion 1/2 cup plain yogurt 2 tablespoons unsweetened milk 4 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper Instructions 1. Prepare the coleslaw by finely chopping the cabbage, carrot, and onion. Place them in a mixing bowl. Toss with the yogurt, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, milk, salt, sugar, lemon juice, and pepper until well combined. Store the coleslaw in a jar. 1. Refrigerate in the regular refrigerator compartment; it can be stored for about 1 week. 2. Wrap the bacon completely around the sausage and grill in a pan over medium heat until cooked and golden brown. Turn off the heat. 3. Assemble by spreading butter on the inside of the bread, spoon in the coleslaw, place the grilled bacon and sausage on top, garnish with mustard and chopped parsley, and serve.
