Updated video taken October 12, 2012. 2008 Honda CBR 1000RR Rustoleum Custom Paint RC51 SP1 Wheels Custom Undertail FMF Apex Exhaust Custom Exhaust Shield 5000k HID The Update: Layed it down on left side going 30Mph on a sharp turn (darn those sand and dirt on the road!) and made a mistake of purchasing non-OEM left fairing and front cowl as it does not fit perfectly. CUSTOM PAINT - Custom painting was gonna burn a whole in my pocket so I ended up using 16+ cans of Rustoleum spray paint! The design, I made myself by getting ideas from different 1KRR's, MotoGP, Agusta's, and Ducati's. UNDERTAIL - The undertail is custom made from a $8 sheet metal bought from Home Depot. I ended up cutting the far back bolt and putting an alternate bracket on top so the tail will become flush all the way. Slap on some LED strips from Autozone and you're good to go! EXHAUST HEAT SHIELD - Custom made from the thickest sheet metal if found from Home Depot $15.00. Measure first using a cardboard and use that as a template. The side bends are made by using two 2x4's to ensure a straight bend. Three support clamps are used using the aluminum bar thingy you use for the toilet with holes in it; 1. attached to the exhaust S pipe, 2. attached to the exhaust bolt hole the S pipe mounts to, 3. attached to where the fairing attaches to. Good luck! RC51 SP1 WHEELS:: REAR: Straight Bolt On. FRONT: Had to swap bearings and add washers as spacers and cut the inner cylinder tube to fit the rim. WANT MORE INFO?
