How to Land a Job in Asset Management

Some people will tell you that asset management is the coolest field in finance, myself included. And if you want to land your first asset management job there are a few things you can do to give yourself the best chances. Whether you’re just looking to hold a job for a couple years to build your resume, or you want to find a long-term career, these tips can set you off on the right foot. To have this conversation we will need to get into the details of each type of business that operates in the asset management sector, because the hiring process can be different for each. But first, the best tip I can give to land a job in any of these businesses is to contact them.
