Występy gościnne #18 | Dziewczyńskość. Dzieje pojęcia
What is girlhood and how has this concept evolved in the humanities and culture? The starting point is its history – from gender studies to contemporary attempts to reclaim girlhood as a space of agency and community. This is a conversation about the aesthetics of girlhood, its ambivalences, the relationship between experience and its cultural mediation, and the tensions between emancipation and commercialization. The discussion is attended by Aleksandra Lewandowska-Ferenc and Katarzyna Nadana-Sokołowska. The moderator is Natalia Królikowska. The recording was made during the Łódź Book Fair.
