C'est quoi le TCP/IP ?

The purpose of this video is to provide a simplified presentation of the TCP-IP layered protocol model and how it works. ERRATUM: - 2'35" a router allows networks (not subnets) to be interconnected. ERRATUM: - 3'18" these are 4 TCP/IP layers (not software layers). ERRATUM: - 8'56" The next MAC addresses are known by the router because it simply asks the next router (ARP request). NOTE: This presentation is intentionally simplified, and many other mechanisms and information involved in the TCP-IP model are not presented here. This is simply a way to understand how it works in broad terms (the video is already 15 minutes long!). So, sorry if network "pros" find there are too many shortcuts here... I invite them to publish more comprehensive videos!
