Today, I'll take you on a tour of the beautiful Anne Hathaway Cottage in the Cotswolds. Originally a farmhouse, this 500-year-old cottage was the childhood home of William Shakespeare’s wife, Anne Hathaway, and has now been converted into a museum. Visitors can tour the Anne Hathaway Cottage and its museum for an adult admission price of £14.50. This journey through history and architecture offers a unique glimpse into rural English life and the timeless appeal of the countryside. As we explore, notice the deep overhang of the thatch, which protects the walls and keeps the house warm and dry. The residents are super friendly. Some locals invited me to their special cricket events in the evening served with BBQ and live music, I enjoyed my evening and I had a good time with the locals. 📍Lacock Considered by and large to be one of the prettiest in the Cotswolds. well-known for a host of film and TV productions including Harry Potter and Downton Abbey.
