Fix Vanguard session is initializing in League of Legends Step 1: Open the Windows search bar and type “Services”, then open it. Step 2: Locate “vgc” in the list of services and try to start it. Step 3: If you encounter an error when starting vgc, or if it won’t start or stop, navigate to C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard and launch vgtray.exe to start Vanguard manually. Now locate “vgc” in the list of services again and try to start it. After that, try to relaunch the game and check if it works
