Fall of 1985 nintendo launch system from new york city.
I can't believe I found one of the first 100,000 nes systems. These were released in new york city as a test by nintendo to see if they would sell nationwide. Nintendo offered to buy back any unsold units and 90,000 or more units sold out in a short amount of time. Nintendo representatives actually went around to stores in NYC setting the systems up to sale. The matching serial number paper with this unit is interesting too. I have lots of boxed systems with papers and seen several but never one with a matching serial number paper. Lucky find for a nes fanatic.
