U.S. President Donald Trump signed two executive orders at the White House in Washington aimed at accelerating America's leadership in quantum technology and strengthening cybersecurity. The first order launches a national initiative to develop a scientifically relevant quantum computer by 2028, while the second directs federal agencies to transition to post-quantum cryptography by 2031 to protect government systems from future cyber threats.
