The Parable Of The Fig Tree Explained | Parables of Jesus Explained | Luke 13: 6-9

In The Parable of The Fig Tree Jesus explained that God is the God of second chances. The parable of the fig tree shows that God is always willing to keep waiting for us to turn to Him and bear fruit. The parable of the fig tree is found in luke 13: 6-9 and looking at Luke 13: 1-9 gives us even more perspective. Although Jesus explained the importance and need for us to repent, the parable of the fig tree explained that God is patient. None of us are unworthy of God's forgiveness, and the parable of the fig tree explains that God is watching over us and caring for us in a way that it trying to lead us to Him. The parables of Jesus explain to us the ways in which God loves us, what He wants from us, who he is, and what the kingdom of Heaven is like.
