Tried the mysterious Abyss Challenge in Silent Castle — and this mode is different. It feels a lot like Haunted Grove because you must merge items to level them up (for example: Level 1 bed + Level 1 bed = Level 2 bed). Combine smartly, manage escalating Reaper buffs, and maybe you can escape the Abyss! Key mechanics & tips (beginner friendly): Merge system: Combine identical items (beds, doors, turrets, etc.) to create higher-level versions. Merging is the core progression — don’t just spam single low-level items. Escalating enemies: Reapers gain attribute bonuses each time you defeat one — kills make future enemies stronger. Only kills = escape: Defeating Reapers is how you progress toward escape, but each kill increases the difficulty. Rewards = Candies: You earn candies that can be spent later on skins, ad tickets, and level-up items — prioritize survival purchases early. Survivor moments are critical: If you’re the last survivor, merge fast and use saved resources — one mistake can cost everything. Beginner merge strategy: Early game—merge two same-level beds/doors to free up space and improve durability. Mid-game—focus merges on turrets/defense. Late-game—upgrade the highest-impact items for survivability.
