Hell is such a terrifying place, where even a drop of water on the tip of your finger is impossible to obtain, even while writhing in the scorching torment of hell (Luke 16:24). Jesus taught that if a hand, a foot, or an eye causes you to sin, it would be better to cut it off and pluck it out than to be thrown into the fire of hell (Mark 9:43). Because even the excruciating pain of amputating a limb cannot compare to the torment of hell. “In hell, their worm never dies, and the fire is never quenched.” (Mark 9:48) “Everyone will be salted with fire.” (Mark 9:49) Even the punishment of hell is so excruciating that you cannot even die of your own accord. Without even the smallest joys of life, momentary peace, or hope of salvation, hell is filled with only excruciating pain, regret, and sorrow. So why must we go to hell if we don’t hear the gospel and repent? Before you were born on this earth, you were angels in heaven (Job 38:4-21). However, you committed a sin in heaven, were sentenced to hell, and are now reborn to earth, a spiritual prison, where you remain for a short time (Ezekiel 28:13-27). Therefore, unless you find a way to escape the punishment of hell on this earth, you are destined for hell. “O wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?” (Romans 7:24) God, taking pity on humanity, who was destined for hell, came to this earth to reveal the way to escape it. “I have come to call sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32) To forgive sins that lead to death and save us from hell, God gave His flesh and blood as a ransom for sinful humanity. “Take, eat. The Passover bread is my body. The Passover wine is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for the forgiveness of sins.” (Matthew 26:28) Therefore, if you keep the Passover of the New Covenant, you will receive the blessing of forgiveness of sins and be saved from the punishment of hell. You will also receive eternal life and return to heaven. “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:54) However, if you reject the message of salvation, “Receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life through the Passover,” you will not receive forgiveness for your sins in heaven and will be punished in hell as planned. “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you.” (Luke 22:15) Please keep the Passover of the New Covenant, which God has granted as a sign of forgiveness of sins, and return to heaven.
