IS PHUKET WORTH VISITING IN THE LOW SEASON?

I used to avoid visiting Thailand from May-November due to the ‘monsoon season’, in reality the weather is not permanently bad and there will be patches of very nice weather too. I got told the weather was awful, the bugs were bad (they can be at times), and everywhere was shut… You might get a few more mosquitoes, you may get a bit more rain, but you’ll also get slightly less crowds, more choice of accommodation, and some bargaining power to get lower prices for certain things. In this video I give my perspective on Phuket in the rainy season and from the the past 6 years of travelling to Thailand and share the thoughts of other expats and locals’ views that have way more experience than I have.
