What started as a good-Samaritan off-road recovery of an abandoned UTV in a restricted desert zone quickly turned into an accidental grand theft investigation. We found this stranded side-by-side stuck deep in a section of the desert where SxSs are strictly off-limits. Figuring it was abandoned and at risk of being stripped or heavily fined, we fired up the recovery rig to extract it and track down the owner.
