Wrestling Bios Presents - The WWE Career of Tatanka Tatanka was a WWF / WWE Superstar active in the World Wrestling Federation from 1991 to 1996 (during his initial run). During his early days in the company, Tatanka was very popular with audiences, becoming an instantly recognizable superstar due to his unique gimmick. Tatanka wouldn't get to main event levels during his time in the WWE, but he was was definitely memorable. Real nane Chris Chavis, Tatanka was trained in Larry Sharpe's Monster Factory before beginning his career in the WWF. He came into the company and began an undefeated streak on TV, a streak that would last for nearly 2 years (however, he was beaten in House Show matches). Tatanka would work against Rick Martel during his early WWF days, having entertaining matches against the model before then working with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 9. As the months progressed, Tatanka was unable to hold onto his winning streak and, eventually, he turned heel and joined the Million Dollar Corporation. Once he was finished with wrestling in 1996, he took time off to spend time with his family, but he did make a WWE return in 2005. This video looks at The WWE Career of Tatanka.
