Los 90. La década que amamos odiar: 1994 - Canal Encuentro

Tomás Balmaceda sets out to review the most significant events of the 1990s, a period marked by the fall of the Berlin Wall, the triumph of neoliberalism, and the supposed "end of history." Politics, sports, music, film, media, and television underwent major transformations, and although that era viewed itself through consumerism and, therefore, through ephemeral influence, it remains etched in our memories. Each chapter focuses on a particular year and explores different topics using archival material and interviews with people who lived and thought through the era. With a lively and fast-paced approach, this series aims to depict a series of events interwoven in such a way that they successfully reveal the signs of a past that helps explain our present.
