Halo Combat Evolved - Discovering the Horrors of the Ring

Reaching the control room, Cortana discovers that the Halo ring holds a dark secret, and sends Master Chief off to put a stop to it without much explanation. Heading deeper into the Halo, Master Chief finds the remains of a team sent to investigate, only to be overwhelmed by the Flood, a parasitic alien species that the Chief needs to escape.
