4. VERSA-LOK makes variable bond so easy!

Variable bond is another of VERSA-LOK retaining wall system's many advantages. VERSA-LOK’s unique hole-to-slot pinning system means units do not need to be placed half-way over units below (half-bond). Creating a variable bond, with at with least 4" of overlap, simplifies installation, makes the wall more structurally sound and enables you to create a more natural-appearing wall as well as a wide variety of curves and corners. Special modifications or unsightly gaps between units, needed by some systems to maintain half-bond, can be avoided using VERSA-LOK Standard units.
