Vorupør Strandfest 2019

Vorupør is a small fisherman's society recently (+10 years) developed into a surfer paradise in the northwestern part of Jutland (Denmark). People come from all over the country to experience Thy National Park, the surf and the cosy atmosphere that encapsulates the whole region known as Cold Hawaii. This video is about the annual 4-day event, that has run for more than 30 years and I had the pleasure of filming and photographing their event. ======================= about Peter Weiss: ======================= Born in 1985 in Denmark, 2 wheels has been part of Peters life since 1994 and he is today a passionate offroad-rider, travelling the world in the name of hard enduro. Peter brings experience from 7 seasons of working with RedBull Romaniacs & Minas Riders (Brazil) as well as knowledge from a handfull of latin-american events. Peter is furthermore a seasoned offroad training coach, used to do backflip shows on trials bikes and nowadays very invested in learning how to document and showcase the incredible sport, nature and culture from the surroundings of which he gets to ride & coach.
