Nighthawk Customized Colt's Pre-War Government Model- My "First" Custom
Continuing down the path of some of my first handguns, this 1919 Colt's Government Model may be one of the most important. It was my first custom gun, my first pre-war Colt's, and the first gun I ever considered to be an "heirloom" piece. In the wake of a dismal "graduation due to the world shutting down, this was a gift to myself, the first college graduate in my direct bloodline. Before anyone gets too riled up, this pistol was NOT in its original condition when it was sent to NHC back in 2020. I DO NOT advocate for customizing historical firearms in original or "close to" original condition. Instagram: / 1776_duck
