How To Rivet the WW2-style 2-Piece Hold Down Strap for Jerry Can Mount Jeeps & Military Vehicles
This video shows you how to assemble the two piece hold down straps to the jerry can mount for your WWII vehicle. Instead of one really long strap going around the bottom of the jerry can mount, the original military specs from WW2 utilized two sections of canvas webbing with each riveted in place to the container mount. The rivets used are double-capped rivets. The simple procedure is demonstrated in the video.
