Moritaka Drop Happens Monday 7/13 https://cutleryandmore.com/collection... Moritaka knives have been forged by the same family name since 1293. Moritaka knives are forged using the Warikomi method, in which the softer iron cladding is opened like a taco, and the core steel, Aogami Super in this case, is then inserted and forged. You definitely hear more than normal, including a floorboard making noise as I'm sharpening at some point, the garage door, and a touch of one of my studio light fans, but overall, it seems okay.
