A sacred cypress tree was felled in Agematsu Town, Nagano Prefecture, in preparation for the Ise Grand Shrine's Shikinen Sengu ceremony, which takes place once every 20 years. On June 6th, it departed for Ise Grand Shrine, watched over by many local residents and others. (Broadcast June 6, 2025)
