Since we started our band back in 2011, we had never played the music of another artist before. Following our participation to a Pink Floyd tribute concert at Supersonic (Paris, FR) in June 2019, we wanted to go further in this process of celebrating the legacy of one of our favorite band. There are thousands of Pink Floyd’s covers on YouTube. That’s why we chose songs that are rarely or never played by others, trying to make them our own as much as possible. For this 100% DIY project, we spent three days at Studio 89 (thank you Adrien Schlienger), with our friends Boris Patchinsky (sound engineer), Pierre-Marie Croquet (film director) and Quentin Douriez (lighting designer) to record and film those songs live. Some fans may not approve our versions. For us, this video and this EP are an opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason.
