"The Lost Colony Audition" - James Romanov

It's very distorted due the video file I had to download to retrieve this, but I salvaged what I could. This is my audition video for The Lost Colony role play. I made it to round 1 but sadly that video is lost as far as I know. So I only have this little piece of TLC history lol. This was also the last time I used Jim's real name for a role play. So creative right? lol Story: James Romanov is Anastasia'a son, and he is reluctant to live by the expectations placed upon him as the future ruler of Russia. The main issue he has is being forced into marriage with a woman of equal stature. After he rejects his latest prospect, he decides to run away so ease the burden of his mother (or so he thinks). He manages to find an ad for sailors and decides to join them on what he hopes is a new life and new adventure for himself. Editor's note: The text can be hard to read so I'll try to decipher them here. James: Mom, I told you. I cannot be one of them pompous idiots! I'm sorry I'm not the perfect son! Anastasia: That's enough now, James. You know that is not what this is about. We had a deal. And now we have to start all over again. At The Wedding Announcer: Lady Eleanor Beauchamp James: I can't. The Letter: I'm sorry mom but I cannot be what you need me to be. I'm tired of being a disappointment to you and this family. I hope you can forgive me. I love you mom. Goodbye. The Ship James: I'm sorry, mister...? Vaider: "Captain". Captain Vaider of this voyage. James: Oh, I'm sorry, captain. Vaider: And what is YOUR name, young man? James: Just call me Jim. Vaider: And do you know anything about sailing? James: Only by what I've read. However, I'm willing to learn. Vaider: Well learning is what you will be doing here. Welcome aboard, Jim.
