Henry Joy McCracken Commemoration 2013
Almost 200 people and 2 bands took part in the parade led by the Henry Joy McCracken flute band to commemorate the United Irishmen leader executed in 1798. The Parades Commission determination ruled those marching would not be allowed to proceed past the junction of Victoria Parade and it was rerouted away from Clifton Street. When the bands reached their destination they dispersed and the event past off peace fully.
