Building the COOLEST S8 4.2L Intake Manifold feat. Grüven Parts & Jackal Motorsports

The D2 S8 intake manifold gets every supporting mod available to keep cold air flowing through it. I open with a lesson on how the early 4.2 Audi intake manifold compares to the later ones found on the B6/B7 S4 and how they switch from long to short runner position. I also explain how the vacuum solenoid, lines and actuators work to shift the runner flaps and the variations of the setup. I talk about heat protection and solve it with a ceramic heat coating from Custom Powder Solutions Edmonton and DEI gold wrap. Then comes the install of the Gruven Parts billet levers and linkages, followed by the debut of ‪@jackalmotorsports‬ new 4.2L Audi intake manifold spacers. I finish the install with a smoke machine test to check the intake for future vacuum leaks, and then I whine for awhile about the PCV system before finishing the entire install.
