मनदीप ने बताया कि उसके एजेंट ने कहा था कि 40 दिन में डोंकी के माध्यम से उसे अमेरिका सुरक्षित भेज दिया जाएगा 18 सितंबर को उसे दिल्ली से मुंबई भेजा गया उसके बाद मुंबई से गोहाना (साउथ अफ्रीका) उसके बाद ब्राजील, मालवीय ,पेरू ,कोलंबिया और पनामा के जंगलों से होते हुए 24 जनवरी मेक्सिको बॉर्डर की दीवार कूद कर अमेरिका भेजा जहां अमेरिका बॉर्डर पुलिस में मनदीप को पकड़ लिया और उसे अपनी हिरासत में रखा 13 फरवरी को उसे डिपोर्ट कर दिया गया. मनदीप का कहना है कि एजेंट ने उसे झांसे ने रखा, 40 दिन की डंकी बात कर 5 महीने लगा दिए. अमेरिका में सरकार बदल गई जिसका खामियाजा उसे डिपोर्ट होकर भुगतना पड़ा। पैसा भी गया जमीन भी गई और पासपोर्ट भी 5 साल के लिए खराब हो गया। अमेरिका से अमृतसर एयरपोर्ट तक उन्हें हथकड़ियां में बांधकर लाया गया उसके बाद अंबाला पुलिस को सोपा गया अंबाला से कैथल पुलिस को सोपा गया और गुहला थाना की पुलिस ने परिजनों को मनदीप उनके सपुर्द कर दिया। Mandeep told that his agent had said that he will be sent to America safely through a donkey in 40 days. On 18 September he was sent from Delhi to Mumbai, then from Mumbai to Gohana (South Africa), then through the jungles of Brazil, Malviya, Peru, Colombia and Panama, on 24 January he was sent to America by jumping over the wall of Mexico border where the US Border Police caught Mandeep and kept him in their custody. He was deported on 13 February. Mandeep says that the agent deceived him, took 5 months by talking about a donkey of 40 days. The government changed in America, the consequences of which he had to suffer by being deported. Money was lost, land was lost and passport was also spoiled for 5 years.
