We'll compare the sound and build changes between these two industry leading snare drums. Our "old" snare will be a DW Pre Collector's maple shell 10+6 configuration. This is really a Keller made shell. And the "new" snare will be a DW Collector's Purpleheart which uses the VLT configuration. We'll have a ton of A/B sound tests between these 2 snare drums so you can hear the tone differences.
