Brazilian jurist Jeffrey Chiquini published a legal analysis in which he strongly contests the latest decisions of Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, classifying them as authoritarian and outside the constitutional framework. The lawyer criticized the suspension of visits by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro to his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro, as well as the restriction on sending letters, pointing out that the measure breaks historical precedents of the Judiciary regarding the communication rights of those under investigation. Chiquini compared the current procedural rigidity to the treatment received by President Lula's defense in Operation Lava Jato and accused Moraes of usurping the competence of the Electoral Court by directly invoking the Public Prosecutor's Office against the conservative opposition.
