Oberbergisches Land | Zwergenhöhle - Burg Eibach & Neuenberg - Rudi-Hoffmann-Pfad & Luftaufnahmen

We went with the family to Oberbergisches Land in Eibach, that is near Engelskirchen. There we hiked with the kids for a good 2.5 hours. We started on the Rudi-Hoffmann path and then turned off to the Eibach castle ruins. The castle ruin is next to a farm, is a moated castle and unfortunately not accessible. From there we hiked a little over half an hour through the forest to the Neuenberg castle ruins. The Neuenberg castle ruin is located in the middle of the forest and if it weren't for part of the castle tower and the wall, you'd almost walk past it. This castle was now very accessible. From there we went to the dwarf cave and in between took aerial photos of the area (with the DJI Mavic Mini). The dwarf cave was very interesting for the children. In the end we went a few meters further to a point "Nice view". There you have a wonderful view over the surrounding Oberberg country. Approx.
