We are testing the concept of using conversational Ai to write our Arduino sketches for the smart home. We assume that the initial code sketch will not work properly and are learning how to tell Ai to give us corrected code which will eventually work. Very specific terms, peripheral i.d., main board identification ; all this is required to get the correct sketch . It appears that with Ai in 2026 we must try to anticipate stumbling blocks and pitfalls which might trip up Ai when it writes our code. We try to anticipate the assumptions which might be incorrect which Ai makes when it writes a sketch and try to "steer" it to the correct understanding of how our sketch should be written.
