Celebration of World Environment Day 2026

On 05th June 2026, IIC, Innovation Cell, Departments of Botany, Geography and Zoology in collaboration with IQAC of Victoria Institution College have successfully celebrated the World Environment Day, 2026. The day began with the inaugural session, followed by an expert talk on climate change. Resource person was Prof. Soumendu Chatterjee, Dept. of Geography, Presidency University. After his engaging talk we had students activities like poster presentation, model demonstration and idea pitching. Students presented very good ideas in different form based on the theme of Climate Smart Innovation/ Technology. Over all it was a vibrant day celebration which successfully shifted the campus narrative from passive environmental concern to proactive implementation ideas. We are grateful to our respected principal for her guidance and constant support.
