Medical oncologist, Tomasz Beer, MD, speaks at the 2019 Prostate Cancer Patient Conference on the factors he considers when deciding to prescribe a patient either Xtandi (enzalutamide), Erleada (apalutamide), or Nubeqa (darolutamide). Tomasz Beer, MD, FACP, is the Grover C. Bagby Endowed Chair for Prostate Cancer Research, Professor of Medicine, and Deputy Director of OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, an NCI-designated Cancer Center. Dr. Beer received his medical degree from John Hopkins School of Medicine in 1991 and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Beer has been the leader of the Prostate Cancer Research Program at OHSU for more than a decade. He is an internationally renowned medical oncologist known for leading a number of clinical trials for prostate cancer prevention and treatment.
