I am continuing my study of different ways to generate the random numbers for Dungeons & Dragons (D&D, DnD). I have been asked specifically about how rolling 3d6 and even 4d5 impacts the ratio between how often the dice determine the success or failure of the task verses how often the skill of the character is the determining factor. I think we have established a pattern, but let's look at these dice as well.
