Daily life with Mandi: Pretzel has a bath & Cernunnos just hangs out

Mandi has had over 50 Flying-Fox Paralysis Syndrome (FFPS) bats come into her care over the last month. I'm pretty sure she no longer has time to sleep, so Nene has flown up there for a week to help out. I had 2 spare syringe pumps here, so I met Nene on the way to the airport to hand them over so she could take them up to Mandi's. Nene has a Tardis suitcase which fits more than you would think possible from its size, and it was more than up to the task of fitting the 2 pumps in. Neens says she's so exhausted after 3 days of work up there, that she has no idea how Mandi is still vertical after doing this alone for a month. They graciously took some footage for me and the Megabattie viewers, so you can watch the bathing and feeding process. Pretzel is one of Mandi's babies who had a mild spinal injury so he's a little challenged and not particularly good at grooming; Cernunnos is another of Mandi's babies who is loving just hanging out on Janine and squeaking while she bathes Pretzel. I added some footage some of you will already have seen, of Gloss who is one of the paralysis syndrome (FFPS) girls, and her progress; she is slowly recovering after her paralysis syndrome ordeal. If anyone is able to donate to Mandi to help her with this influx of seriously compromised bats, plus money for special fruit purees and foods to tempt the invalids, and all the associated medical costs with IV tubing IV pumps and cannulae, and eye goop, is desperately needed. Thanks Mandi and Nene for the footage which is given in thanks for the continuing donations which help support the fruit costs for Mandi's bats. Tolga Bat Hospital takes donations for Mandi. https://tolgabathospital.org/donate/ Mention Megabattie or Meg in the PayPal message box and the money will find its way to Mandi If no message box appears, please email Jenny to tell her that the money is for Mandi. IMPORTANT: If you pay through the PayPal Giving Fund, can you please email Jenny with the AMOUNT DONATED and the name under which you have donated, OR just forward along the PP receipt. If you specify the amount donated, it makes it heaps easier for Jenny to find the donation. The Giving Fund doesn’t charge any fees (so the bats get more money) but PP doesn’t itemise out the amount, they just send a total every month, and we don’t know if the money is for Tolga or for Megabattie. Here’s Jenny’s email. [email protected]
