Here are the best things to do in Bucharest! I visited Bucharest during the Christmas season and spent some time exploring the city. Walking through streets decorated with Christmas lights was really enjoyable, even though the weather wasn’t perfect. One of the highlights was Cărturești Carusel, a beautiful and famous bookstore in the city center. Each floor has something different, from a multimedia area in the basement to a gallery and a bistro on the top floor. I also visited the Christmas market at Piața Constituției, right in front of the Palace of the Parliament. The market had over 100 stalls with crafts, gifts, seasonal food, and drinks. There was a giant Christmas tree, lights, carousels, and even live music and shows. If you're interested in trying local Romanian food, it's the best place.
