V287 Driving from Dorchester NB to Sackville NB Canada Oct 2025
A fall country road drive from Dorchester to Sackville. I took my dad for an afternoon drive to enjoy the fall colors. Dorchester is South of Memramcook. A nice village, it was established in 1872. It became a town in 1911. It has a population of about 906. The town is home to the Dorchester Penitentiary, which opened in 1880. It is a minimum, and medium security penitentiary. My brother in law, and a close friend worked there.
