Who Do YOU Say that I AM?
In this week's Bible on Our Day, I present several choices regarding one's view of Jesus Christ. Sometimes referred to as The Trilemma, it is popular to either outright reject Jesus Christ as a lunatic, a liar, or, as Lord. Yet, it is even more common to passively write Him off as a good moral teacher. Whatever view one holds, we need to accept that Jesus is not going away. He is not ignorable. I cite C. S. Lewis, who, as an adolescent, abandoned his Christian faith, thinking that atheism held the cards. Yet, realizing he could no longer run from the compelling evidence, Lewis embraced the claims of Jesus Christ. I conclude by urging readers to assess their own relationship to the One who said, "Come to Me, and I will give you rest..." I hope this message will be a blessing to all.
