Taylor's Eye Witness Twin-Blade Gentleman's Clip-Point (Slim Barlow) in EXQUISITE Mother of Pearl.

Salutations, Ladies and Gentlemen! It’s been two months again, but I’m back to provide a (typically ramble-y) showcase of an incredibly beautiful Taylor’s Eye Witness knife. The knife in question is their ‘Gentleman’s Clip-Point’, or ‘Slim Barlow’; a model which has become one of my absolute favourites. This particular example features some lovely Mother of Pearl, giving it a true sense of pedigree and class. As per usual, the craftsmanship is excellent; done by the master Lee White, himself. Sadly, this piece came with a spot of blade rap, which likely occurred before the knife even left the factory. It’s a shame, really, as this knife is practically perfect otherwise. Taylor’s Eye Witness Twin-blade Gentleman’s Clip: –Mirror polished 420HC stainless steel clip-point and spear-point blades. –Mirror polished nickel silver bolsters, brass pins and liners. –Mirror polished stainless steel backsprings with filework. –Genuine Mother of Pearl handles. –6-7 spring tension on both blades. –Handmade in Sheffield, England by Lee White. 🇬🇧 Overall, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, but I absolutely adore this piece. While I am somewhat saddened by the presence of blade rap, the knife remains a masterwork in my eyes, especially when considering its only real ‘flaw’ is one which I suspect to be the result of a hasty inspection prior to shipment from the factory. As it happens, this is without question, the most beautiful Taylor’s Eye Witness knife I own, and one of the most exquisite pieces in my whole collection. As a birthday gift for myself, I’m extremely pleased with this acquisition! I purchased this piece at fendrihan.ca/fendrihan.com, which has become my go-to shop for TEW knives.
