Eligible small farmers cultivating up to 2.5 acres were identified through a free village camp. Their Aadhaar cards, land records, crop details, self-cultivation status and agricultural requirements were verified before separate packages of fertilisers and crop-protection medicines were prepared for each farmer. In the first distribution, 15 farmers received 79 bags of urea, 15 bags of DAP and 15 agricultural medicine kits. After the verification of pending applicants, assistance reached the village a second time, benefiting seven farmers with 35 bags of urea, nine bags of DAP and seven medicine kits. Within only ten days, the third distribution provided 11 farmers with 48 bags of urea, 10 bags of DAP and 11 crop-specific pesticide kits. Altogether, the first three distributions benefited 33 farmers with 162 bags of urea, 34 bags of DAP and 33 agricultural medicine kits. The assistance did not stop there. As soon as the remaining eligible farmers completed the application and verification process, fertilisers and crop-specific pesticide medicines were delivered to Karsola village for the fourth time. All materials were provided completely free of cost and transported directly to the village. Farmers said the initiative saved them from long queues, fertiliser shortages, transportation expenses and the need to borrow money at interest.
