Talking cycling with Egan Bernal of Team Sky
Egan Bernal: take note of the name… it’s likely that you’ll see it a lot in the future. The 21-year-old from Colombia joined Team Sky in 2018. He is the winner of the 2017 Tour de l’Avenir – and a former silver medallist in the junior MTB world championships. His heart lies with road cycling, but he loves his mountain biking too. RIDE’s Rob Arnold talks to the Colombian a couple of days after his 21st birthday. We get a little bit of background on this interesting rider from a nation with a rich history in cycling. It’s a long interview but one that helps introduce Egan to the wide world of professional cycling. For more, see: ridemedia.com.au
