Fusion - Giao Hoà ("Weaving A Realm" - Dệt Nên Triều Đại)

As the project's name suggests, the Vietnam Centre and Nguyễn Creative Cinematography have collaborated to create this unique combination of classical Oriental aesthetics and modern Western couture. When we think of this idea, we wonder whether contemporary garments are in accord with classical Vietnamese clothing? Would the colors, forms, materials and aesthetics of distinct cultures and different periods of time blend in and flatter each other? And this footage is our answer. FUSION is a side project of "Weaving a Realm"- with the purpose to recreate the court attires of 15th century Vietnam. Đúng như tên gọi của mình: FUSION - Sự giao hoà, Vietnam centre và Nguyễn Creative đã cùng tạo ra một sản phẩm độc đáo kết hợp giữa vẻ đẹp của truyền thống Á đông với sự tươi mới của làn gió phương Tây. Khi bắt đầu dự án này, chúng tôi có chút băn khoăn tự hỏi liệu trang phục cổ xưa có thể kết hợp với thời trang đương đại? Sắc màu, kiểu dáng, chất liệu, và cả quan niệm về thẩm mỹ của hai thời đại có thể đặt cạnh nhau, hoà vào nhau, và tôn vinh nhau? Có lẽ mỗi người chúng ta, bằng cảm quan cá nhân, sẽ tự có những đáp án của riêng của mình.
