Une Vue à Couper le Souffle || Refuge des Dents du Midi

Hello and welcome to this new video. Today's objective is to climb up to the Dents du Midi refuge. We start from the Van d'en Haut parking lot and take the stairs up to the dam and magnificent Lac de Salanfe. This first ascent to the dam takes 1 hour. After admiring the reflections of the Tour Sallière on the lake, we continue up to the refuge. There's still 980m of ascent to do, which takes 3 hours. But the path is easy and well-marked. The Dents du Midi refuge sits on a rocky promontory, separated from the Dents du Midi peaks by the Plan Nevé glacier. The refuge is simple but very well equipped.
